Worms 4: MAYHEM Information Worms 4: Mayhem is a 3D turn-based strategy game developed by Team17. It is much like its predecessor 3D, except that players can customize their worms appearance (hats/helmets, glasses, facial hair, gloves/hands) as well as create their own unique weapons (air strikes, launched is bazooka, thrown is grenade) and a shop using points won by completing story missions and certain activities (is. 500pts damage in one turn, kill 5 worms in one turn etc.) Shop items include new maps, new accessories (they have no effect other than to identify teams), personality banks (how your worms will react to getting shot, either cringing or insulting their oppressor, even mock horror as well as in game one-liners "You couldnt spot the criminal in a one man ID parade!" - English Bobby personality) and game styles (there are also custom styles). Staind Discography Staind formed on November 24, 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts. After meeting through friends and covering KoRn, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains, among others, in smalltime clubs for a year and a half, Staind self-released their debut album, Tormented, in November 1996, citing influences Pantera and Sepultura. Until recently, the album was difficult to obtain, as only four thousand copies were originally sold. Since then, the bands official website has released the album to meet the demand from fans. During this time, Staind played a show with Limp Bizkit. When Fred Durst saw the controversial cover of the groups debut album, he tried to have the band kicked off the bill, but when he saw the bands live show, he changed his tone and befriended them, later singing backup on Aaron Lewiss live, original version of the future Staind song "Outside." Durst was one of the executive producers for Dysfunction and Break the Cycle. He also directed a few videos for the band later on. They also have performed at the Saints & Sinners Festival in 2007. Elysia has close ties with Knights Of The Abyss and Arsonists Get All the Girls. Zak Vargas did guest vocals on Knights of the Abysss full-length Juggernaut on the track "Decaying Waste". Beginnings Elysia started as Elysiums Revenge, while the band members were still in high school. The band gained notoriety in the Shingle Springs-Cameron Park area with their empty shows at the Shingle Springs Community Center. By the end of 2003, they shortened their name to Elysia and added a second vocalist, who helped them record their first EP. Months later, they pen "Incinerate", a song that has grown to become a staple in their setlist. While popular, the song is often misunderstood. The lyrics are anti-homophobic, although they are often perceived as being uselessly violent. The band cites their immaturity as the cause for this. In the spring of 2004, they record a second EP, with the first occurrence of "Incinerate". The release show for this EP features Suffokate and The Frontline. That summer and fall, they would write their second and third staple song, "Triumph" and "Filthy". "Filthy" would again be misunderstood by many, just as "Incinerate" had been. Musical Style Elysias lyrics cover a wide range of topics, from anti-homophobia to womens rights. The band admits that they sometimes have a hard time accurately portraying the meanings they want to put across, mainly because of "immaturity". For example, the lyrical content of "Incinerate" and "Filthy" has had the band criticized. They have also been banned from playing at venues because of their lyrics graphic violent content. Saxophonist Beckenstein has certainly always been the bands leader, writing a good chunk of the material and producing the albums, but given that the lineup is basically unchanged from the previous few Spyro Gyra albums, the new nomenclature is puzzling. It also goes against Spyro Gyras entire musical aesthetic, as the groups unabashedly commercial and melodic style works against the traditional jazz concept of soloists and sidemen. Everyone on Fast Forward plays the melody, the whole melody, and nothing but the melody, with no improvisations or sidebars. The resulting tunes are unfailingly pleasant -- theres nothing here that would cause anyone to leap immediately to the forward skip button on their CD player -- but this relentlessly safe smooth jazz is unfortunately deficient on m emorable songs, expressive playing, or foot-tapping tunes. In November of 1913 he signed a contract with Mack Sennett at Keystone and left for Hollywood the next month. His first movie, Making a Living (1914), premiered in February of 1914. He made 35 films that year, moved to Essanay in 1915 and did 14 more, then jumped over to Mutual for 12 two-reelers in 1916 and 1917. In 1918 he joined First National (later absorbed by Warner Bros.) and in 1919 formed United Artists along with Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and D.W. Griffith. His first full-length film was The Kid (1921); his first for UA, which he produced and directed himself, was A Woman of Paris: A Drama of Fate (1923). In 1929, at the first Oscar awards, he won a special award "for versatility and genius in writing, acting, directing and producing" The Circus (1928). In 1943 he was accused of fathering a child; the papers made much of the scandal, but it was proved in a court trial that he was not the father. The same year he entered his fourth marriage, to Oona Chaplin, daughter of playwright Eugene ONeill. They had eight children. Tired of political and moralistic controversies and plagued with tax problems, he left the United States for Switzerland in 1952. He published his memoirs in 1964. In 1972 he returned to Hollywood to claim a special Oscar honoring his lifetime contributions to movies. He was named Knight Commander of the British Empire in 1975.
